Digital Footprint Index. Measuring Digital Word of Mouth
Way back in 2009 the Zócalo Group (www.zocalogroup.com), a division of Ketchum and Omnicom Group published a report called "Measuring Digital Word of Mouth" and introduced the Digital Footprint Index (DFI). The DFI was developed to improve a marketer's ability to understand, measure and accelerate where and how brands are discussed and recommended across all social media channels.
